Focus Peaking

Get extra help achieving tack-sharp focus with the new Focus Peaking option, which can be enabled directly from Settings.

Movable Magnifier

The magnifier can now be moved horizontally by simply dragging it to your preferred position.

Improved Long Exposure Shooting

We've fixed an issue which caused camera movement in long exposure capture that was causing soft images and ugly artifacts.

Bayer RAW / Apple ProRAW Support

On supported Pro devices, you can now choose your preferred RAW format in Settings: Bayer RAW or Apple ProRAW—to get the best of both worlds.

Improved Focus / Exposure Lock

Focus Lock now remains active even after pressing the shutter, making it much more useful for workflows such as panoramas, focus merging, and other multi-shot techniques.

Other Improvements

We’ve made substantial improvements throughout the interface to make AuraHDR easier, faster, and more intuitive to use, including:

  • Clearer buttons and lists
  • Improved exposure compensation UI selection
  • Better default settings for the HDR camera
  • Improved file naming for easier sorting and identification
  • Fixes for bugs that could cause crashes or freezing

Zoom Preview Tool

The new zoom preview tool allows you to magnify any area by 3x for precise focus. Designed for focus stacking and focus bracketing modes. .

Manual Focus

We've added a new manual focus slider for close-up shots which often require precise focus due to the shallow depth of field.

Exposure Compensation

Now you can manually adjust brightness to override the camera's automatic settings. Great for handling tricky lighting situations such as in backlight subjects or for artistic effects. .

Image Stacking Frames (RAW/JPEG)

Now you can shoot multiple identical frames—up to seven at a time. Perfect for image averaging in apps like Affinity Photo to reduce noise or achieve long-exposure effects. .

Other Improvements

We've improved the shooting menu interface to be more compact for easier scrolling. We've also fixed bugs for a better experience

Automatic Focus Bracketing

A new auto mode captures brackets in two steps: First, tap the nearest point to be in focus, Two, shoot. Supports up to 100 brackets. You can also adjust the focus increment.

Moon Shot Mode

Capture any moon with beautiful detail and color with a new mode.

Interface improvements

Easily switch bracket settings via a new context button. Available in focus and HDR bracketing modes.
